January 12, 2010. The date that shocked the world as a 7.0 major earthquake created catastrophic havoc and devastation in Haiti, an already poor and troubled country.

As a global and compassionate Virtual Assistant industry, we, as representatives of the Online International Virtual Assistants Convention, feel an obligation to join businesses and organizations, and others worldwide working to alleviate the tragedy and destruction inflicted upon this country and its people.

In view of this, we are committed to donating a portion of the proceeds from this year’s Convention registrations to Haiti relief. Convention attendance is not required to contribute to or to be a part of the representation of the VA industry.

For your convenience, a number of charities are listed here. (More)
