Sharon Williams

Sharon Williams is the owner of The 24 Hour Secretary and founder of the Alliance for Virtual Businesses and the Online International Virtual Assistants Convention. Sharon brings 25+ years of administrative, marketing and business management experience to her numerous ventures and diverse clientele. While specializing in digital dictation and transcription services, her passion is marketing and event coordination. She is the inaugural winner of the Thomas Leonard Virtual Assistant of Distinction Award and holds several certifications, including Master Virtual Assistant, Professional Author’s Assistant, Social Marketing Specialist. She has written three publications, Marketing Your VA Practice, Nuts & Bolts of Branding, and Racism in State Government. Her expert team of internationally-based Virtual Assistants handle the responsibilities busy and often overwhelmed executives and entrepreneurs dislike or lack time to complete. The company is open 24/7, always reachable and willing to help.

Andrea Cannavina

Andrea Cannavina, is the creative and technical force behind LegalTypist, Inc. and Law Firm Solutions, and she’s made it her mission to educate CEOs, Managing Partners, CFOs, HR Coordinators, IT Administrators and solo practitioners about their options in the setup and use of digital and web based technology to slash overhead, safeguard company/client information and improve overall productivity.  Andrea provides vital support to busy professionals through customization of easy to use and implement processes allowing firm personnel and company representatives the ability to work remotely — securely and professionally — 24 hours per day/7 days per week – using nothing more than a phone.

Patricia Donmall

Patricia Donmall is the owner of Conors Admin Services. She has over 25 years of experience providing admin services to a wide range of clients. Specializing in working in the Medical field, Trish has a passion for increasing the knowledge and understanding of medical transcription work in South Africa where it is still a growing industry. She feels that the Virtual Assistant industry in South Africa and Africa in general is very underutilized at the moment and that a great focus and emphasis on this area of the Virtual Assistant world will show that Africa has a wonderful potential for growth in the VA industry.

Alison Fourie

Owner of AMF Typing Services est. 2001, and Co-Founder of Tavasa, est. 2008. With over 25 years of secretarial/office administration experience. My dream was to have my own typing business, working from home and I am working and living that dream.

It has always been my goal to be able to help, assist, and share my knowledge and experience with Virtual Assistants within South Africa and Africa and to educate businesses, corporates and entrepreneurs on the benefits of using Virtual Assistants. It is a growing industry within the continent and the more that people know about us the better for the new Virtual Assistants starting out. This is a new industry within Africa and I would like to see it grow in leaps and bounds and for us to be part of the virtual assistant community worldwide.

Specializing in editing, proofreading and general administrative support services, copywriting and grant writing, too, Karen has the desire, and an excellent proficiency, to improve upon the editing and writing predicaments of coaches, speakers and Solopreneurs in small business via the Internet. Karen has managed to translate a “human services”-focused education and lengthy, diverse career with experience in the education, publishing, mental health, and human services fields in the corporate world into a profitable online endeavor.

Becki Noles, Visionary of Virtual Accuracy has been at the forefront of stream-lining coaching and entrepreneurial businesses since 1998. Utilizing her background in marketing, publicity, corporate training, advertising and media, Becki custom tailors and implements individualized action plans for taking coaching businesses to the next level. As a Virtual Assistant her business partners with top business and executive coaches in the United States, Canada, Switzerland and the world over.

Jo Saunders

Jo Saunders is the director of Wildfire Social Marketing, a marketing consultancy specialising in online marketing strategy, implementation and support.  She offers group training and 1-1 coaching in the use of LinkedIn, Facebook and online marketing tools, to SME and organisations.  She can help you get fired up online to boost your profile, increase brand exposure, sell tickets to events, to grow your business and increase profits.

With 20 years’ experience in office management, graphic design, marketing and event management, she brings an array of skills to help your business grow with the power of social media.

Francis van Wyk

Committees: International Virtual Assistants Day (IVAD) Celebration, Promotions

Francis van Wyk is the founder of Be Virtual Assistant Wise, an organization that supports virtual assistants in South Africa with all aspects of establishing and growing successful businesses. Her programs help women entrepreneurs who struggle with getting their business off the ground to become more successful and to attract a lot of clients consistently.

Francis has a master’s degree in Business Administration and more than 15 years marketing and business management experience. She started her first virtual business in 2007 when relocating from South Africa to Saudi Arabia in the Middle East.  Since going through all the same motions, struggles and frustrations as any first time entrepreneur building a successful business from scratch, she developed the step-by-step Boost Your Business programs.
